The City of Oakland Park, located in the geographic center of South Florida, was incorporated as the City of Floranada in 1925. Four years later, it became known as the City of Oakland Park.

	Spring Break and Summer Programs The Spring Break and Summer Programs for children is designed to be fun, entertaining and challenging, including field trips, swimming and sports.
