BEAUTIFICATION AWARD NOMINATION FORM
Membership & Term Length: This Board consists of seven (7) members of the general public who will be appointed by the City Commission. There will be three (3) ex officio members who shall have no voting powers which will include one (1) representative from the City Manager's office, one (1) representative from the Public Works Department, and one (1) representative from the Code Enforcement Department. Length of terms shall be three (3) years.
Member Qualifications: Applicants must be a resident of the City of Oakland Park.

Duties and Responsibilities: To investigate, study and recommend plans to the City Commission as to improve
the general health, sanitation, safety, and cleanliness of the City. Encouraging and recommending the placing, planting,
and preservation of trees, flowers and shrubbery on public and private properties. Review and make recommendations
on all City landscape projects related to enhancing City parks, buildings, and rights-of-way when costs exceed five
thousand dollars.
