Our Library has 18 computers equipped with word processing and spreadsheet applications, as well as Internet access.
The Library is located between Oakland Park Boulevard and Commercial Boulevard, and is one block east of North Dixie Highway on NE 37th

Programs & Activities
Our Library boasts a variety of programs and activities for children, teens and adults alike. See our Library blog or the boxes to the right for current schedules.
All Oakland Park Library programs are free and open to the public.
Our Youth Services Department now has on-going story time/craft programs for all ages Monday through Friday. Please call 954-630-4372 and speak to our Youth Services Librarian for more information on these programs. For adult and young adult programming, please call 954-630-4374.
Homework Center
Homework Center will be held Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Marie Wright Room. This is a supervised quiet place for elementary school-aged children to do their homework.
Confidential literacy tutoring and tutoring space is available by calling 954-630-4370.
America's Newspapers
The Library subscribes to the America's Newspapers electronic database. This database provides access to local and national newspapers, including the Sun-Sentinel, and is easily searchable. For access from home, please click here and enter your library bar code.
Florida Electronic Library
Do you need information about the state of Florida for a book report or class project? Log on to the Florida Electronic Library using your library bar code for access to a digital collection of Florida's history and culture.
Dial-A-Story
Dial-A-Story is now available to the young and the young at heart! Dial-A-Story is available by dialing 954-561-6151 on your telephone and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The story changes every week, so call often to enjoy classic folk tales as well as new stories.

Please request use of the Library's Marie H. Wright Meeting Room and Conference Room by printing Room Booking Form & Waiver and then filling it out completely. Please mail it to Oakland Park Library, 1298 NE 37 Street, Oakland Park, FL 33334. Please give a telephone number where you can be reached to confirm availability.
The Friends of the Oakland Park Library
The Friends of the Library is a non-profit organization that plans programs and activities in support of the Oakland Park Library. The Friends of the Oakland Park Library also conducts Used Book Sales several times a year.
