Utility & Billing Services is part of the Operations Division of the Public Works Department.
LOCATION:
Located on the first floor of City Hall, the Utility & Billing Services staff provides utility & billing
account maintenance and related customer service. Residents wishing to apply for utility services, such as water,
garbage, and recycling, may visit our office at City Hall. Our friendly, experienced staff will assist you with opening
your account, any changes to your account, or if you have any general billing inquiries on your account. A Welcome
Packet is provided to each new account customer.
VIEWING YOUR UTILITY BILL: You can view your current Utility Bill by clicking here and following the instructions provided. Your bill will show your payment and usage history back to October 2006 and a summarized comparative data for one year.
PAYMENTS:
Bill payments may be made using our EZ-Pay program that allows us to deduct the amount billed from your financial
institution the day before the due date to assure posting to you account on time. Please see the link below to download
the EZ-Pay sign up form. This service is free.
When mailing payment, please use the return envelope provided and mail to our processing center at P.O. Box 70520 as shown on the payment voucher.
You can also pay your Utility bill by using your own online banking. Please consider the usual four-day processing time by your bank so that your payment is not late and you are not charged a late penalty fee.
Cashier Services:
You can pay by Credit Card online or at the Cashier window next to Utility & Billing Services. Our third-party
processor, Point And Pay, Inc., charges a nominal charge for payment service. The City does not charge or retain
any portion of this fee. We accept Mastercard, Discover and American Express cards.
NOTE: Effective June 8, 2009, the City no longer accepts VISA credit/debit cards.
Payments may be made in person or by using the drop box located behind city hall (enter the one-way street from NE 36th Street). Cash and checks are accepted at the cashier's window only between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, except for holidays and during emergency closings.
