Personal Banking On-line Payments:
You can also pay your Oakland Park Utility Bill by using your bank's on-line bill pay.
An improved process has been implemented to expedite customer's on-line Utility Bill payments through their personal bank. For banks with electronic conversion, payments made via "On-line Bill Pay" will be converted electronically and remitted to the City. PLEASE complete the scheduled payment a minimum of 4 business days prior to the bill's due date so your payment can be processed in time to avoid a late fee. The City posts the on-line utility bill pay remittance the same day it is received from the customer's bank. However, the City has no control over when the customer's bank completes the transaction process. Sufficient funds must be available on the scheduled payment date for the transaction to be completed. NOTE: Customers will need to reset their payment method with their bank if it is not already set. For example, customers who set up bill pay one year ago when check payment was the only option, may need to update and reset with their bank for the electronic conversion option to take effect.
