Residential garbage is collected twice weekly. Each resident is provided a 96-gallon cart for their use. Collection days are either Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday, depending on your address. The City collects garbage on all holidays falling within the normal work week (Monday - Friday), except Christmas Day. Fully automated collection equipment is used, so there are some very important rules to follow in order to ensure collection.
