WATER MAIN BREAK/BOIL WATER NOTICE
Update 12-26-11: Morning Report
The Precautionary Boil Water Advisory REMAINS IN EFFECT for all City of Fort Lauderdale water customers, as well as customers in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Oakland Park, Port Everglades Authority, Village of Sea Ranch Lakes, Wilton Manors and sections of Davie and Tamarac.
Testing was conducted throughout the City yesterday, December 25, 2011. The lab results from samples taken yesterday are expected this afternoon. The results will be submitted to the Broward County Health Department for review.
Additional testing is ongoing today.
We do not have a time certain for lifting the boil water advisory because the decision is pending the outcome of testing.

All tap water used for drinking, brushing teeth, cooking or other consumption should be brought to a rapid boil for at least one minute. Tap water is okay to use as is for washing and bathing.
